Grammar basics and conversation for first time Italian students.

In Espresso, you will speak in Italian from day one! In a fun and relaxing environment, we will focus on pronunciation, some grammar, every day useful sentences and dialog.

We will mainly practice in the present tense, and from there, hold simple conversation and develop the ability to write small compositions.

Discussion topics and readings covering Italian culture, customs, recipes and all that is Italian, will be part of the course.

The Festival of the Rificolona is an event in Florence where a procession of the city youth continue an old custom of carrying unusually and bizarrly shaped lanterns of colored paper on top of a cane rod.
Chiara chooses interesting articles about Italy and we work on various concepts of grammar, pronunciation (I will read the article), and discuss new vocabulary words. It was an exciting time for me and I've learned and improved so much!
